Codes and Conventions of a Radio Trailer

  • Scheduling information - Title, Date and Time then channel. - usually at the end of the trailor

  • Voiceover - to outline narrative - sometimes they pose questions

  • Direct Address - 'you'

  • Intrigues The Audience - makes them want to watch it

  • Extracts From The Documentary - Vox Pops Etc

  • Sound effects and music bed

  • Slogan

  • Usually about 30 seconds

  • Sound effects link to what is being said.

  • Mans voice - Voiceover then a Womans voice giving schedule Information. Channel said last.
